The longevity of your Altro Transflor flooring system's effectiveness and good looks will be greatly enhanced by adopting the correct cleaning routine. We recommend a daily and weekly cycle, depending on the type of vehicle and local conditions. For details please ask for our maintenance CD.

The choice of cleaning detergent is important. Intensity of traffic, climate and environmental conditions need to be considered when choosing colours. Low-floored vehicles get dirtier inside than vehicles with steps, and therefore require shorter cleaning cycles. The darker the colour, the easier to keep looking clean. Where light colours are chosen, a more rigorous cleaning programme will be needed. Floors with multi-coloured vinyl chips conceal soiling more effectively than plain floors. Certain chemicals such as harsh cleaning products, or substances in hydrocarbon composition pavements (sidewalks), can also cause staining.
