| Check you have
the correct floor style and colour, enough flooring to
complete the job. All pieces should be from the same dye lot (batch). Turn flooring sheets to get the best match. If there is any shade variation don't install and call your Altro dealer. Inspect stair trims and moldings (nosings) and install them in the correct order. Some need to be installed before the flooring. Contact your local Altro Transit office for specific details. |

CHECK
YOUR ADHESIVES 1 Plywood subfloors use acrylic adhesive or approved contact cement. 2 Steel and aluminium subfloors use acrylic adhesive or approved contact cement. 3 Areas of water spillage, extreme temperature changes or heavy rolling loads use pressure surface acrylic adhesive or 2-part polyurethane. 4 Cap strips, cove formers and vertical surfaces use approved contact adhesive. |

TOOLS
YOU WILL NEED 1 Cutting use standard trimming knife with straight or curved blades and a straight-edge or electric cutting machine with Altro diamond tipped blade. 2 Applying adhesives use appropriately notched trowel for all adhesives. Contact adhesive may be sprayed on (subject to local legislation). 3 Ensuring thorough adhesion a variety of rollers and weights will ensure proper bonding. and |
