grooving tools The Altro Grooving Tool has a 4mm blade and will groove approx 50 linear feet (15 linear metres) of Altro Transflor. Power grooving tools Diamond-tipped steel blades for electric seam groovers will groove approx 6,500 linear feet (2,000 linear metres) of Altro Transflor. |

Hand
grooving Use the Altro Grooving Tool with a straight edge. Make sure seams are well aligned. Place straight edge along seam. Pull grooving tool down straight edge, trimming equally either side of seam. N.B. Grooved channel should be 60-75% of material in depth. |

Power
grooving Only use Altro Diamond-tipped blades in your machine. Other blades may blunt quickly and damage flooring. Ensure machine is set to correct depth, line up grooving machine indicators with centre of seam and push machine carefully and steadily along seam. |
